The release of the Air Jordan 1 Alpha represented a contemporary update to the sneaker world’s most iconic and obsessive models ever, the original Air Jordan I.
With technological advances of 2010 incorporated into an aesthetic still largely resembling the shoes originally worn by Jordan, an upcoming release features a version of the Alpha with colorways designed by Nike’s legendary designer Tinker Hatfield. The shoe will hit select retailers including UNDFTD.

TC & I have always talked about the absence of a Tinker dedication in Nike’s “series” of series so to speak… I personally am excited about this release. Not because it’s an Alpha 1 (which I dislike, but not as much as others in my circle), but because it pays tribute to the only other person I think had as much to do with the success of the Jordan brand as MJ himself.
