Diggy Simmons.. you might know him from Run’s House, but he proofs to be more than just the average 15 year old kid.
Aside from being the son of Rev Run, Diggy is also a fashion designer and a rapper. His mixtape, The First Flight, got a lot of attention from not only Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco and Common. But also from the folks at Altantic Records, which he signed with on March 21, 2010.
The First Flight was released on December 2, 2009 and it features not only Diggy, but also artists like Karina Pasian, Khalil and Lil’ Twist. The mixtape is produced by Neako, Black the Beast, Young Jerz and Natural Disaster. Before signing with Atlantic Records, the mixtape already was downloaded over 100,000 times!

Since his deal with Atlantic, he made a new song “I Came To Rock” which you can check out in the vid below.

And that’s just the rap part! He’s a designer too! His sneaker brand, Chivalrous Culture, will be releasing between August and September this year. We already gave you guys a preview of the sneakers about a month ago.
Diggy is also part of a movement called “Young Crafters”, which features some of his friends. Check out the Mission Statement and the “Young Crafters Lookbook” below.
