We’ve been sitting on some serious information. Unfortunately we can’t break things as early as we want to all the time. This is one of those times. What you see above it the Walter’s Jordan 5. Jordan & Walter’s collaborated on to celebrate their 60th Anniversary.
If you know anything about Jordan and it’s collaborations with boutiques you’d realize this is “Kinda Like a Big DEAL” (in my best Pusha T impression)! Other than UDFTD, Jordan doesn’t offer many stores the opportunity to customize or alter their sneaker silhouettes. Walter’s has been a staple stop for sneaker heads world wide. In our interview with Walter’s (coming soon) we were fortunate enough to hear stories of people flying all the way here from Japan in order to purchase everything from Jordans, to limited run Converse All-stars. Walter’s is definitely deserving of this type of recognition. They are worth their weight in gold to the sneaker community here in the city.
The rumor is there are only 60 pair and they’re slated to drop late summer/early fall 2012. We’ll keep you posted as more information is revealed. Remember where you heard it first!!!!!
