Atlanta Got Sole x VIBE Vixen: Chicks Who Love Kicks

The creative direction for this project was a collaboration within a collaboration: with pulling varying looks and feels, meshing the street flair of sneakers with the allure of Ilysha was a task left up to proper posing and lighting. Giving respect to the audience, we wanted to combine an upclose look at the newest, unreleased sneakers, combined with a beautiful “vixen” and location. Keeping the shoes elevated, while in a lux enviroment was key to our vision. – Christina Madison, Art Director

For this shoot, I wanted the makeup to be simple, yet still sexy enough to just enhance Ily’s natural beauty. Her bone structure is phenomenal and she has beautiful eyes, so creating a cat eye with a rosy cheek and a red lip for a pop of color was the simplest way to bring her face to life without over doing it. – Ashley Gray, Make-up
