Basketball is one of the most popular sports  in the world today. It’s extremely common in the inner cities due to the fact that it doesn’t require much to play. No fancy equipment. Just a ball, a basketball goal, & a court. Well, for sometime now one of the most popular parks in Atlanta had yet to create an environment for the popular sport. Until now
Kasim Reed, Julius “Dr. J’ Irving, & Atlanta’s elite all came out for the dedication of Piedmont Park’s first bashetball court. The court was donated to Piedmont by Converse, which as of late has been an integral part of a few charitable efforts in the city. During this dedication youths of all ages christened the court. These half court scrimmages brought out some tough competitors. The great Dr. J even joined in a short “shoot around”
It was an overall success. Not only did Converse show young & old alike a good time. But they also gave the city a girt that people can enjoy for years to come.
