I really enjoy seeing people follow their dreams. Often times it takes bumps in the road along the path but those particular hurdles are oftentimes the building blocks to success. So for AGS to receive this email from The Dropouts introducing their new collection was a wonderful surprise. Honestly I have been waiting to see the collection as a whole for a second. Following from afar on The Dropouts twitter and their tumblr. I have seen bits and pieces but these detailed pictures really build the anticipation for the official release. My first assessment of this collection being fucking dope still stands. We are in a culture were a nice number of brands come and go, a huge majority convey no creativity, and more than that, allot of it lacks the quality within the garments that can overshadow the bullshit designs. I think we all recognized that even some of the power players in this culture fail within design and quality but they succeed based upon location and sheer being in the right circle of people.
Shown in this initial release below The Dropouts Fall/Winter 2011 collection will feature The Dropouts Letterman Jacket, Additional Button Down, and a host of The Dropout Tees.
