In between the A3C festival going on in Atlanta, AGS had a chance to travel to Greensboro, North Carolina for the opening of The Pines. The flagship boutique for clothing company LiKuid Nation and their soon to be released brand, The Dropouts. Having had the opportunity to visit a number of boutiques in varying states The Pines is aesthetically a standout shop. Drawing into the theme of its namesake The Pines visual make up delivers a contrast of a clean simple retail space combined with a natural nature feel that greets you upon walking within. This Space is owned by Greensboro native Cam Bennerman, alongside a strong operating staff running the daily ops.
The Pines is geared to rethink the retail experience that many are accustomed to. The transferable space can host various events, art openings, listening sessions, and small gatherings. It also serves as the showroom and office space for the LiKuid Nation company and the in house brand The Dropouts. There are no limits on the possibilities within The Pines concept. Already rallying a wave of support with the pre-release of The Dropouts Fall/Winter line. The Pines look to be on their way with this out of the box retail experience. We at AGS wish the whole staff at The Pines the best of luck with their endeavors and a huge appreciation for the hospitality shown while in the Greensboro area.
