TRUTH TURNER – THE WHOLE TRUTH

One thing I think we have come to know as adults is that music isn’t the same as when we were in high school or just coming up as little whippersnappers. Certain aspects of rap music are missing that particular something and the r&b is most definitely all out of sorts. There have been some bright spots as of late but that time period when everybody coming out could out right “Sang” is long gone. Not to pre label Truth Turner as the “Sanging” savior of the music industry but this guy really brings a certain nostalgic back to that era of artist with undeniable talent.

This project The Whole Truth is a solid body of work from beginning to end, with features from CyHi Da Prynce and up and comer Translee. The production is crafted exclusively by Anthem Andres and ATX.  Below is the initial video “Sidechick” shot by ATX. This visual tells a story that many are familiar with. That moment when you are out with the goomah while the old lady is at home eating cereal watching golden girls waiting on you to get back. To some those perils way heavy on your mind.
