Heart and Sole: The List

Let’s get back to the basics if you will. We seek relationships but end up with false hope. I quadruple-two-dribbles-on-the-side dare you to seek a real-ationship, not settle for less, and give way to the possibility of such. Yes real love doesn’t exist only on tv or in the inner sock of your Foams or the church. Yep, I went there – the place of worship. We seek direction but look at our own map. Um, you haven’t gotten it right so far so why not switch to TomTom? If you are a believer of any faith, do you seek guidance from the one you worship? If you follow no faith, do you ask yourself what you want before going out and seeking?

Trust me when I tell you that going to Wish or the dollar store without a clear direction is not a good look for your budget. Love you Wish but I’m trying to buy a house so I have to slow down on the kick collecting. You get bewildered by the selection and pick up things you already have in your shoe closet or fridge. “Ooh they sell steak at the dollar store?! Let me try it out.” Knowing goodness well you gave up beef for the Lent. “Dawg, are you serious? Q-tips are on sale?!“ Pause. Now, you know that you have tried that brand and it didn’t work out for you then. The tips came off in your ear and the sticks snapped in half every 3 swabs. The same goes with relationships. Take an account of what you like and don’t like and what works and what doesn’t work. No physical traits at first. Get all the heart, mind and soul stuff squared away first. Now we can look at the beauty that fades – big booty or a six-pack.
