Dropouts: #IMADROPOUT with Phonte

These types of projects give me life. That’s a tad bit dramatic, but it’s releiving to know that the way you think or feel isn’t as off the beaten path as you may have thought.The Dropouts is beginning an interview series on the life of successful individuals who at some point decide to leave school & purse a career their own way. Phonte is an appropriate start. Phonte (a rapper who openly discussed the rigors of making it in school & balancing an outside pursuit as time consuming as music), goes into detail on why he’s where he is now. This could be an AMAZING series. Outside of the obvious “Kanye” reference there are plenty of people I’d like to know the “behind the music” story on. Everyone starts out pretty much the same.
