Wara from the Neighborhood is more than just another new rapper on the Atlanta indie scene. He’s a product of the world we live in. That sounds all poetic & deep, but it isn’t meant to be. He’s a very well rounded individual. Knowing him helps, but the descriptions he give in his music (in particular songs like Riccardo Tisci) give you the impression of an individual stiving for more. Someone who can appreciate the finer things life has to offer, but isn’t quite there yet. That part of his music makes it relatable even if it’s masked behind his relaxed, monotone delivery. Wara’s project “The Ill Street Blues” is available now. Stay tuned for more of his music on Atlanta Got Sole.
