A good friend of ours was featured in Hypebeast’s Essentials piece. For those that aren’t familiar with this regular post, it’s a piece that takes what makes some of today’s most infuential taste makers & compress it into one photo. Frank Cooke of Wish has been creating great collaborations for sometime now. With succesful joint ventures with the likes of Mishka, 10.Deep, Android Homme, Publish, & more, Frank is a heavy hitter. Petra Reijrink shows us her latest collection jewelry, which is inspired by people and cultures Petra comes across while traveling. The collection features bracelets, rings, necklaces and earrings.

As part of the festivities for New York’s Fashion’s Night Out, Pharrell Williams hosted a get-together for friends and fans alike at the BBC/ICECREAM store in SoHo. Pharrell was on hand to mingle with fans and catch up with Mark McNairy while also perusing the wares on display. On show were Pharrell and McNairy’s Bee Line, Don C’s hats and exclusive Fashion’s Night Out products. Check the video to have a look at how the night went down.

Mark McNairy is one of the most extensive brands I’ve seen in recent history. I’ve only been familiar with them for about a year or so. I notice their footwear first. The wingtips with the colorful soles that graced the shelves of Standard in Lenox. Conversations with shop owner Frashad & sightings at their spring/summer I saw how much detail went into their work. Mark McNairy was the creative director for the ivy league influenced brand J. Press . It would be safe to assume that his work with such an extensive & established label has served him well in developing a well rounded progressive street wear brand. With successful collaborations with Keds  under their belt & another with PF Flyers slated to release 2013 they’ve added the two more brands to the list. Eastland supplied the template for 3 variations of the Berwick USA chukka boot. Tonal leather, one green & the other two brown. The camo accents two of the releases very well. Giving the clean cut chukka a street wear edge. The other is the Vancouver based brand Herschel Supply Co. Limited to 400 worldwide, the Cordura fabric & leather stitched rucksack & backpack (200 each) hit Herschel retailers 9/17.
